ການລົງໂທດໂດຍກາຍຄ້ຽນຕີ: ອີງຕາມສະພາບການປະຈຸບັນ ພວກເຮົາຕ້ອງໃຊ້ເວລາ 60 ປີໃນການບັນລຸເປົ້າຫມາຍ ປີ 2030 ໃນການຢຸດການລົງໂທດທາງຮ່າງກາຍໃນທົ່ວໂລກ.

ດັ່ງທີ່ໄດ້ຮັບຮູ້ແລ້ວວ່າ ສປປ ລາວ ກຳລັງຈະກາຍເປັນປະເທດທີ່ 66 ທີ່ໄດ້ກຳນົດວ່າການໃສ່ໂທດທາງຮ່າງກາຍຖືເປັນສິີ່ງທີ່ຜິດກົດໝາຍ, ຜ່ານການວິເຄາະໂດຍອົງການຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອເດັກແມ່ນຊີ້ໃຫ້ເຫັນວ່າ ຖ້າບໍ່ມີການເລັ່ງປະຕິບັດມາດຕະການດັ່ງກ່າວ, ມັນອາດຈະຕ້ອງໄດ້ໃຊ້ເວລາ 60 ປີ ເພື່ອບັນລຸເປົ້າໝາຍລະດັບໂລກໃນການລົບລ້າງການໃສ່ໂທດທາງດ້ານຮ່າງກາຍທຸກຮູບແບບ.

Corporal Punishment: At current rate, 60 years needed to meet 2030 target of global prohibition

As Laos becomes the 66th country to outlaw corporal punishment, analysis by Save the Children suggests it will take another 60 years to meet the global target to eliminate of all forms of corporal punishment, unless the current rate of progress is sped up [1].

Save the Children International in Laos Celebrates International Children's Day and Launches New Climate Campaign

On May 31st, Save the Children International in Laos celebrated International Children's Day with nearly 250 students from Xon Pao School. The event also marked the launch of "Children Changing Our Climate Future," Save the Children's new climate campaign in Laos. The event was further enriched by the attendance of representatives from the Institute of National Researching Science and Education, the Ministry of Education and Sports, and the Lao Youth Union.

Save the Children International in Laos demonstrated promising support for ensuring climate resilience and adaptation in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) and Early Childhood Development at the Southeast Asia Regional Forum.

On 14th May, the Southeast Asia Regional Forum on Ensuring Equal Access to Quality Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) held in Vientiane, Laos; aiming to acknowledges the link between ECCE and equity, productivity, and sustainable development and therefore a positive and successful future for the children.
