Save the Children International in Laos demonstrated promising support for ensuring climate resilience and adaptation in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) and Early Childhood Development at the Southeast Asia Regional Forum.

On 14th May, the Southeast Asia Regional Forum on Ensuring Equal Access to Quality Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) held in Vientiane, Laos; aiming to acknowledges the link between ECCE and equity, productivity, and sustainable development and therefore a positive and successful future for the children.

Conducted exchange learning between school and school target in district on implement school disaster mitigation activities and demonstrate school drill at Safe School Management Guidelines

Save the Children International in Laos values the importance of continuous learning and improvement to effectively mitigate the impact of disasters on educational institutions and communities. Last month, the exchange learning workshop on implementing school disaster mitigation activities and demonstrating school drills according to the Safe School Management Guidelines was conducted to demonstrate the significance of collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing in enhancing disaster preparedness and response strategies in schools.

United States Provides Grade 1 and Grade 2 Textbooks Nationwide to Lao PDR

VIENTIANE PROVINCE, LAO PDR Continuing the United States’ support for education in the Lao PDR, today U.S. Ambassador to the Lao PDR Heather R. Variava presented Grade 1 and Grade 2 textbooks to Dr. Sisouk Vongvichit, Deputy Minister of Education and Sports at Huay SaNgao Primary School, in Vang Vieng District, Vientiane Province.
