Thipphaivone has been working as an Education Program officer of Save the Children in Laos for 7 months. Her primary responsibility involves managing budget and assisting the Program Director and Program Resources Manager.

Save the Children provides technical & financial supports for a five-day training of trainers (ToT) on enhancing teachers’ theoretical and practical capacities to help students improve their Lao reading skills in early primary school grades.

Save the Children Korea has provided more than USD 400,000 of support for a pilot project to enhance the literacy skills of early grade children in rural areas of Borikhamxay province.
